Quilled Frame

Sometimes it feels like I want to do something interesting.

Exactly like playing with paper and fevicol…

Yes, our minds do crave for creative and crafty works but we don’t realise it. Satisfying our mind is really important.

We all like to collect memories around us. Memories stay in us but also in our surroundings.

Imagine on a working desk your fingers touch a photo frame and the picture held by it reminds you of your good times…you will feel energised.

We can also add memories in that frame or photo holder by beautifying it as per our choice.

Quilling is the best option here. Quilling is a technique to create small and various kinds of decorative elements with paper. The way we fold it, roll it, assemble it and play with its texture gives a variety of designs and can beautify objects along with stones.

What we made?

We took a piece of foldable cardboard. We covered it with a paper sheet and then we estimated the space for a photo it will hold. We quilled some quilling strips as per design we imagined and then we fixed quilled paper elements on frame. We gave final touches by painting the base and adding pearls in it. In that way our photo frame was ready to beautify our memories.

Eco Friendly Measures

We used old pieces of cardboard from cartoon leftovers available in scrap. We covered the inside portion of foldable cardboard with old paper gift wrap pieces from scrap.
