Donate Blood Poster: School Project

This project is a part of “School Project: Drawing and Painting”. In this Project client wanted us to make a meaningful poster with a different concept on the basis of the Theme. It was mostly like a customised project that was supposed to be made as per the client’s instructions with less scope of improvision in it. In this A3 size Poster we were asked to show a lady from whom a tree originates.

Tree was full of greenery and Blood bottles. The concept was very interesting. The tree was personified as a female which is supplying blood to the tree and the tree is creating blood bottles as fruits. We all know it is not literal, it was just a metaphor – a conceptual imaginative presentation of a very creative and different idea. This was a school project so it was really morally and motivating as well.

We followed instructions and we drew 6 sections to draw the poster perfectly. In the 1st section named as A we wrote the slogan “Blood Doesn’t Grow on Trees”. In the 2nd section named as part B we drew a Tree Top structure full of greenery and Blood Bottles. In the 3rd section named as part C we drew the lady’s face, neck and hair. In the 4th section named as part D we drew the neck, shoulders, chest, hand and hair end. In the 5th section named as part E we drew her lower body till knees and backbone which were converted into branches loaded with green leaves and blood bottles. In the 6th section named as part F we drew the lady’s feet in the form of the base of the tree trunk covered with roots. In part E and F, we also wrote a slogan complementing the poster’s concept “Give Blood, Give Life”. At last, we painted the background in light blue which was really interesting.

Final Output of our efforts in Donate Blood Poster: School Project was very beautiful. When we delivered the project to the client, she was happy, she liked our way of implementing her instructions. Project makers felt motivated by working on such a morally and inspiring project.
