A note for youngsters Which has voice of youth embedded To take the charge positively To uncover hijackers of our dreams
We try to cooperate with invisible Society’s play We say we are grateful Society tags egoism then and there
We try to be patient Society calls us desperate We run behind our passion Society pulls back to stay
We show emotions, no matter cry or laugh Society says crazy, or sympathy seekers why? We lock our emotions no expressions in sight, Society says we are heartless, selfish – which is not right
Society can be orthodox Shackled we with narrow thoughts We in cage of boundaries Losing existence every day and night
When we decide to do, whatever heart says; Feeling excited about, what parents will say; When shared with parents, no smile or proudest rays; One thought they care for; What society will say;
Where does this society exist? Who says so much every day? Why are we possessed, when society is just nowhere? We need to take charge of being kind and fair.
