Experience is a big word in itself. What can it be in your words? For me the lessons which we got from time in antiquity are a big part of the experience. It’s not about the time period we lived in; it’s about the mistakes we have made, it’s about losses in whom we have been present. Every passing second of our life is the duration of our experience but the actual measure of our experience is the number of challenges we have accepted, number of changes which we bought and number of falls which we have faced to reach back our highs.
Earlier its definition was greying of hair, wrinkles on faces, skinny hands, weakening of eyes, black circles engrossed under eyes, hunched back and last but not least is the position of the person in the family. People were stuck to their thoughts in the context of restrictive norms of society. They used to irrigate a belief that:
“Only passing time is the best source of gaining experience.”
Age of person was the common and most highlighted factor. Which kept a restriction on youth of that era to be a good explorer, idol, problem solver, confident in their personality. These restrictions in that rusty time led youth to present their views, perspective and disability in decision making and to be dependent only on elders and to agree with a nod on all their orders, decisions no matter how right or wrong they were.
Personal perspective regarding every decision of our lives actually matters. Irrespective of our age, gender and era – Modern or Ancient. The fact will lie there on the same pedestal at last.
